Common LJ tags:


Don't require closing tags:
<lj user="exampleusername"> - displays someone's username, like [info]artoo_ai
<lj comm="examplecommname"> - displays a community name, like [info]taubetasigma

Require closing tags:
<lj-cut text="Cut off here"> - this will replace the default "Read more" in an LJ cut
<lj-cut> - this is the default LJ cut tag
</lj-cut> - this closes either of the LJ cut tags

Random:
♥ - &hearts; - heart
♣ - &clubs; - club
♦ - &diams; - diamond
♠ - &spades; - spade
ı - &#305; or &inodot; - dotless i

Like the greek HTML code post, this one will be added to the memories.
